The Budapest Spring Festival is one of Hungary's most prominent cultural events. Since 1981 it’s been held annually in the last two weeks of March.
Location: Multiple places in Budapest
The program is very diverse – besides classical music and jazz concerts, there are theatre performances, film screenings, open-air programmes and other festival-type events.
Artists from all over the world fill more than 50 venues across the city, offering around 200 opportunities to spring about like a bag full of bunnies set loose in an orchestra's pit. It's the perfect opportunity to get to know Budapest's cultural side.
