Paving the way to “franchising” the Buddha Bar, a highly exclusive restaurant and services brand to Budapest, Mellow Mood Group and the Buddha Bar Group signed a mutual agreement in mid-December. The Buddha-Bar Hotel Klotild Palace, which is expected to open its doors in the 1st quarter of 2009, will give home to this unique form of service in Budapest’s touristic centre, the pedestrian Váci utca.
Following the famous and chic Buddha Bar restaurants (including Paris, Dubai, New York, Lisbon, Amman and Stockholm), this will be the second Buddha Bar “hotel” in the world, the first will be opening in September 2008 in Prague. Not only does the Buddha-Bar Hotel Klotild Palace include the world-class Buddha-Bar restaurant, but the overall design of the hotel will follow the Asian-inspired luxury style. The exclusive hotel will offer 102 rooms (32 suites). The opening of the five-star Buddha-Bar Hotel Klotild Palace is another milestone in the life of the Mellow Mood Group.
