Mr. Peter Wintermantel about the policy of global opening

The London based International Hotel Awards honored the Buddha-Bar Hotel Budapest Klotild Palace with the Best International Hotel Interior award from hundreds of hotels from 5 continents. The hotel, operated by the Mellow Mood Hotels, is the first in Hungary who could win this award. The International Hotel Awards is one of the most prestigious competition of the international hotel sector since 20 years. The hotels can apply in 17 categories, Buddha-Bar Hotel Klotild palace applied in the Best Hotel Interior category.

By winning the Best International Hotel Interior Award Buddha-Bar Hotel Budapest Klotild Palace was not only was successful in the Europe, but among all hotels globally. The award ceremony was held in the Grosvenor House Hotel, London in November.

Mellow Mood Hotels is present in the Hungarian hotel market since almost 20 years and is operating 13 hotels in Budapest (their 5-star hotel is the Buddha-Bar Hotel Budapest Klotild Palace) and one hotel in Vienna. According to the owners and CEOs of Mellow mood Hotels, Mr. Sameer Hamdan and Mr. Zuhair Awad this award is very important for Buddha-Bar Hotel as the winners are recognized not only by the domestic, but the international touristic sector.

On the 5th December, 2013. at the press conference organised on occasion of the award, Mr. Peter Wintermantel, Deputy State Secretary for Global Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs evaluated the activity of the Jordanian businessmen who were honored by the Golden Cross of Merit of Hungary in 2012. He highlighted that as a result of the government’s Eastern opening policy they put attention to the Arabic world, especially in Jordan. After the prime minister’s Jordanian visit in March there were progresses in many fields in Jordanian-Hungarian relations from which they expect activity from both business areas.

This award will help Buddha-Bar Hotel Budapest Klotild Palace be more well-known around the world.
