At Mellow Mood Hotels, it is especially important for us to create not only memorable experiences, but also real value for our guests. We believe that the power of hospitality goes beyond culinary enjoyment; it can build community, draw attention to important causes, and provide support to those who need it.
This is why we joined the Pink October campaign, which raises awareness about the fight against breast cancer, prevention, and early detection. Two of our restaurants, Baalbek and SIMALIBA Belvárosi Csárda, supported the initiative with a special pink menu.
As part of the campaign, throughout October we welcomed our guests with a themed, pink-inspired selection. The chefs created dishes specifically for the initiative, and drinks were also crafted to visually and flavourfully reflect the spirit of Pink October. The aim of these creations was not only to offer a gastronomic experience, but also to spark conversations about the importance of breast cancer prevention.
A portion of the campaign’s proceeds was donated to Mellrákinfó Egyesület
Mellow Mood Hotels supported the initiative not only through communication, but also by donating a significant part of the revenue from the Pink October menu to Mellrákinfó Egyesület. The organisation has been dedicated for years to helping women recognise the symptoms of breast cancer in time, access reliable information, and receive support on their path to recovery.
The purpose of the donation is to provide real help, because we believe that hospitality becomes truly meaningful when it also serves the well-being of the community.
